The Wayans Bros. Sophomore season sees Shawn (Shawn Wayans) laid off from his job and Pops (John Witherspoon) setting him up with his own newsstand next to Pops Diner in the lobby of the Neidermeyer. While Shawn takes on his new career with maturity and determination, a jealous Marlon struggles to make ends meet bussing tables at Pops and working part-time for Shawn.
