Korea, 1952. Cut off from Easy Company, Lt. Tom Flagler and his patrol are caught between the shifting lines of war. With Flaglers group is a three-man British tank crew, a pair of plumbers - a mortar team - separated from their squad, and a female civilian who was helping war refugees. Through skirmishes and setbacks, the makeshift unit pushes on to Muscle Hill, where Easy Company last encamped. They find no one alive.
