A departure from his first self-titled EP, Geniuses & Thieves is an artfully constructed record that is made up of sprawling electro-sonics and infectious hooks - an ambitious stride forward for one of Singapore's most exciting young artists. He draws from R&B influences that have him reaching impressive vocal heights with bluesy baritones and glossy falsettos. The new EP will be preceded by the official single, "Run Tell Daddy" - which follows the success of his street single of the same title, "Geniuses & Thieves". Written by Joel Tan and produced by Yves Rothman and Josh Wei, "Run Tell Daddy" is a brilliant pop spectacle which ushers the listener into his brave new musical world. "Waited one and a half years for this. I put a lot of expectation on this second record and spent months on each track in it.
