THE SAMURAI TRILOGY, directed by Hiroshi Inagaki (THE RICKSHAW MAN) and starring the inimitable Toshiro Mifune (SEVEN SAMURAI), was one of Japan's most successful exports of the 1950s, a rousing, emotionally gripping tale of combat and self-discovery.
