In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, Captain Mitch Nelson (Chris Hemsworth) led a contingent of 12 Green Berets to Uzbekistan, where they'd partner with Uzbeki forces to invade Afghanistan and claim Mazar-al-Sharif from the Taliban.
